October Mothers Gathering
Did you know October is National Dental Hygiene Month? We had a wonderful time at our most recent Mothers Gathering on October 21, 2025. Cherokee Indian Hospital Dental Clinic’s Pediatric Dental Assistants Kandice Matthews, Kelsey Reed, and Katie Walls shared valuable information about the importance of dental hygiene during pregnancy and early childhood.
Our teeth do so much more than help us smile. They allow us to speak our Cherokee language and enjoy our favorite traditional foods, so it’s important that we take care of them.
We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us. It’s always a joy to connect, learn, and support one another. Special thanks to Lori Sanders for organizing this event.
Our next Mothers Gathering will be held on November 18, 2025, and every third Tuesday of the month moving forward. We hope you can join us!
