November Mothers Gathering

What a beautiful evening at our November Mothers Gathering!

November 18th was filled with learning, gratitude, and connection. We were honored to hear presentations on traditional baby carrying, a practice rich with culture, meaning, and strength. It was inspiring to see moms, doulas, Cherokee Mothers Council women, and representatives from The Center for Native Health and Cherokee Indian Hospital all coming together to support and uplift one another.

Dinner was provided and we ended the night with a fun door prize drawing. Congratulations to Brianna Lambert, the mom who won the Food Lion gift card!

A very special thank you to our wonderful presenters Carmaleta Monteith and Lori Sanders for sharing their knowledge and cultural teachings with us. Your time and wisdom made the evening truly meaningful.

We are so grateful for this community and for the traditions that continue to guide us. Save the date for our next event on December 17th!
