The Center for Native Health’s Relational Health Program Director, Kristina Hyatt, supported by Mohawk midwife and Elder Katsi Cook, and our very own Onita Bush, are building a cohort on the Qualla Boundary. This project has been named by the Cherokee Speakers Council as ᏗᏂᏁᎳᏗ ᏗᏂᏍᏕᎸᎯᏙ “dinineladi dinisdelvhido”, which translates to “those who help the pregnant ones”.
